I am a photographer and visual anthropologist specialised in working with storytelling, exhibitions, film-making and qualitative research.

I have 10+ years experience in storytelling and research with audiovisual methods and am currently studying photography at Media College Denmark. I hold a BA in Anthropology and Ethnography (University of Aarhus), specialised in Peace & Conflict Studies (Oslo University), and an MA in Visual Anthropology (University of Manchester). I perceive of camera work as a means of collaboration, deep listening and knowledge production.

My projects evolve around people and how we perceive of the world, we live in. In my research projects, I have focused on the relations between humans and institutions and I have worked with street children in Thailand, homeless people in Denmark, and children in out-of-home placements in Greenland.

As curator, I have worked in cultural institutions in both Greenland and Denmark. Topics such as how we live with the dead, art with children across cultures and historical photography have my deep interest and are epicenters of my work.

Sensory experiences, materiality and the social life of photography also informs my artistic practice, where experimental photography meets handmade photobooks.

Please feel free to contact me with project ideas and enquiries!
